Product Description

The Batsheva Jabot pattern is named after the late Rebbetzin Batsheva Esther Kanievsky, zt”l.  It is designed using the My Sloper Pattern Making Software for Modest Dressmaking.  The method to construct this special Jabot pattern is unique and original and is inspired by the Rebbetzin’s signature Jabot worn in many of her modest blouses.

Rebbetzin Batsheva Esther Kanievsky, zt”l (remembering the righteous for a blessing), was a pillar of chesed (loving kindness) who showed remarkable love and care for her people from all walks of life, ages, and stations throughout her life.  The Rebbetzin was the wife of the Gadol Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, sh’lita (may he live for many good days, Amen), in Bnei Brak, Israel, and the daughter of the Gadol  Maran HaGaon Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, zt”l , the Posek Gadol (Decisor of Jewish law) in Jerusalem, Israel.

This article contains the pictorial on how to sew it.

When you download this pattern and use it, may it be a zechus (merit) for the l’iluy nishmas of the Rebbetzin.  May you also remember the Rebbetzin and do a a mitzvah in her memory and share the love.
